Car Review : Opel Corsa OPC and Opel Corsa Cosmo.

During this year, I tried to imagine almost all of the cars from Opel's press fleet. Today I will talk about two Corsi - both identical and so different.
It all started with the fact that a trip to Nizhniy Novgorod I asked Yegor Dobrowolski something small and cost effective. At that Yegor replied: "No problem, come, have what you need!". And then it started and went ...




1. The morning, without looking, I put on a new yellow T-shirt and went to the office of Opel. An hour later, I felt a little girl - I was given a small stylish machine, and even the color of my shirt! Yellow Corsa OPC is definitely an eye catcher on the road ... and mostly male. Many drivers turned their heads towards me, hoping to see a pretty girl at the wheel and saw an adult man in a yellow shirt. Particularly upset I was sending kisses.




2. I have often said that in recent years has added greatly Opel design. Corsa is no exception.



3. Many times I visited the yard on different machines, but only to the yellow Corse neighbors came and congratulated me on a good purchase)



4. This consumption has turned from Moscow to Nizhny. The machine was indeed a cost-effective, despite its playfulness - Engine 1.6, 192 hp and a 6-speed manual transmission.
I thought that according to the manufacturer fuel consumption data is always underestimated. It turns out, not always - that's the official data: flow regime in the country - 5.9 l/100 km.

8. In Nizhny we stayed the night and slept in the car on the banks of the Volga. Surprisingly, the front seats are relegated almost close to the back of the couch, and produced so much space that you can sleep with the legs extended! I have never slept so comfortably in the car, in Corse!

11. The morning had to knock hour traffic in Nizhny Novgorod. We rolled down the window, turned on the radio and loud children danced merrily. - The stiff suspension. Just very tough. For Saratov just not an option.
- The undivided back seats.
- Rear seats are not designed for long journeys (except for children or Chinese).

- The absence of the armrest between the front seats with the department for all the small stuff.
- Control panel apparently did gloss to the host / hostess can keep track of the degree of contamination of cabin - it can see every speck of dust, which for a couple of hours going well.
- Cheerful yellow circles on the instrument panel are reflected in the side mirrors.
- No built-in mirror in the sun visor of the driver! Oh, the horror!
- Big, massive doors.
- Broad Front. Sense from a small window (in the mirror), virtually none.
- Seat belts are so deep in the interior, which has to literally turn over in his chair to reach them.
- The seat reclines round Twister. Turn it easier out of the car, as my pudgy hand was placed between the seat and the door.

- The striking, stylish design!
- Multimedia System Touch & Connect with five-inch touch screen on the center console. There is also a navigation system, CD/MP3 player, configure Bluetooth, slot for SD-cards and connectors USB.
- Smart light (near / far). Just like the "adult" Opel.
- Heated steering wheel.
- Cruise control.
- Excellent hatch.
- The high ceiling.
- Parktronic.
- Adjustable mirror.
- For this class of good sound insulation.
- Rain Sensor.
- Large pockets in the doors.
- Very comfortable front seats for both the drive and spend the night in the car.
- Beautiful black discs.
- Compatible with all iPods.
- Bluetooth phone and phonebook management from a central console.
- Sitting almost relegated to the rear and the front is a lot of space, you can put your feet on the dashboard.



15. Honestly, give back the car did not want to! So I said Yegor, what else would love to ride. And he answers offered me to take the 5-door Corso Cosmo, so to speak, for comparison.



16. If you do not look at the design (the car is much more inconspicuous), such configuration I liked a lot more:
- Automatic, for most of that.
- 5 doors.
- Much softer suspension.
- The cost to less than 300,000 (the cost of Cosmo begins with 590,000 rubles )

26. Overall, both cars are good for the buyer. But I'm on the road in 90% of cases I see the usual classic Kors, and only occasionally stylish and fashionable OPC.
